There are many women upset over Ubisoft scraping a female lead in Assassins Creed. Just to be clear, Ubisoft aims for historical accuracy in Assassins Creed. They go through extensive research on each subject they chose and create the game around an actual person of history. Sadly, in the French Revolution women didn’t have a big part. We must remember the French Revolution began in 1789, a time where women had absolutely no rights and were stuck within the household caring for the home and children. Inflation was astronomical and they had no time to leave their children behind to fight. Im sure no one wants to play a game where they sit inside a house while you hear booms outside your virtual house. To make a female lead they’d have to make shit up an create something to try and fit the time period. That’s twice as much work and it certainly wouldn’t make any deadlines they have. They aren’t sexist and especially not with all those women in their department. yeah.
