I know excuses are excuses, but seriously. You can go to the English equivalence of a middle school and they make offensive jokes like that all the time. It sounds horrible, but it’s normal for them.

mmm here’s my thoughts: the dead baby jokes were obnoxious, but nothing too surprising. I feel like Dex already explained the feminist thing, so that’s done. the suicide joke was the final straw for me.

I can understand cultural differences in humor, considering how I was born and raised in a Latino community (which is absolutely riddled in sexist jokes tbh). I’m not gonna excuse my family or friends for their sexism because it hurts. I’m not gonna excuse Dex for the suicide joke just because he’s been raised differently. So was I. Everyone is capable of change.
