  1. Gamzee – Insults indicate he’s angry. Anger means you’re going to die.
  2. Feferi – Destroys you completely and then tells her friends about it while laughing girlishly. You never saw it coming. You never recover.

  3. Terezi – Perfectly chosen insult that feels like it’s out of nowhere since she was rambling on about judicial prudence a moment before.

  4. Vriska – She’s not saying what she hates about you, she’s saying what she hates about herself. Still effective, mostly because she doesn’t stop. She has so many problems with herself to project onto you.

  5. Aradia – Doesn’t even seem to be insulting you intentionally, simply stating your faults as a fact. Painful. You remember later and wonder.

  6. Tavros – He’s right, goddammit. But it’s pretty easy to pretend you didn’t hear and talk over him.

  7. Sollux – Pretty bad, but you’ve heard him call himself worse things.

  8. Nepeta – Direct and blunt, but doesn’t elaborate.
  9. Kanaya – You might not notice she’s insulting you. Pray no one else did either.

  10. Eridan – You figure he’s just flirting.

  11. Karkat – You definitely didn’t notice he was trying to insult you, since he used the exact same words to express affection yesterday.
