Maybe you’ve heard the news, or maybe you haven’t! It was announced today that Vine is going to be shut down. I can’t tell you how much this little platform changed my life! Three and a half years of making silly videos on that app, and sooo many people showed their support, and I am so grateful to Vine for making that possible!!! It’s helped me launch a career, both in traditional and digital media, and that’s just something I never thought possible. Truly.
I now look forward to begin focusing my energy on my YouTube channel, as well as my other platforms to keep providing you guys smiles, because making you guys happy is what makes me happy! That’s why I started doing vines in the first place. Today is definitely bittersweet. It’s so sad to see the platform that got me started go away, but, honestly, it also leaves me pretty excited for what’s to come. Change for me is difficult (I’m such a frickin Taurus), but change is also what I think everyone needs from time to time, and it’s about time this lil hobbit starts a new adventure! Hope you guys wanna join me for this one. ❤
Oh!! I forgot to say, I shall still be finding ways to be doing short-form videos, because I know you guys enjoy those little snippets of fun, and I do too!! So the usual shenanigans (Disneypranks, Storytime, etc.) will still be happening! :)))
