A 503 error means the server is unavailable, and this is typically due to either server overload or maintenance. As we’re on hiatus, site traffic isn’t going to be substantial enough to cause overload to the server. This is maintenance. Why does that matter?

Remember Hussie saying that he’d be moving the site to new servers to accommodate the influx of traffic the last update would cause? Me, too.
