Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock on the original Star Trek series, died today. Nimoy invented the Vulcan salute himself. He was inspired by the Jewish Priestly Blessing he had seen at an Orthodox synagogue.

i just want to say that i’m very, very sad about robin williams dying but i think that he’d want everyone to be happy. go watch a comedy, or your favorite comedian, laugh because this is your chance to, laugh for robin
yesterday i was thinking about how there are people out there who have only recently gotten into homestuck and who have never seen it update. they have no idea what the culture of a homestuck update is. and they will only ever see it update once in their entire homestuck life.
