-“You know I can’t let people see me like that!” says Lars as he tears up a photo of himself that Ron was going to show to other people
-Ron asks him why he cares what other people think of him (Lars) and he responds “you wouldn’t say that if people said things about you!!”
-Sadie (talking about the gem) says that it was just hurt and felt trapped in its body (I know, that’s an old and over-used and often inaccurate trans trope) and Lars gets super defensive, thinking that she’s talking about him and not the gem

– the name carving is a VERY TRANS THING TO DO, especially in the scenario of Lars not being out to anyone but Ron: choosing and using a name that reflects your gender is a huge step in personal affirmation and having that name be visible would be an enormous comfort

Starbot is a light, melancholic rpgmaker game tribute to The Little Prince. You play as a work-in-progress robot who befriends a star, explores satellites, and fetches parts for their (v gay) engineer and mechanic. Their journey takes them through strange dream worlds and crosses paths with a cast of wistful NPCs and eccentric, slightly intimidating sloths.

i’ve been seeing a lot of posts about Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily and that’s a really terrible thing, so i’d like to bring attention to NBC’s Peter Pan Live, which seems like a really awesome thing and airs December 4th
NBC actually actively sought out Native American actresses to play Tiger Lily and cast Alanna Saunders of Cherokee descent for the role, which is a lot better than what Pan is doing with casting Rooney Mara
and it looks like just a really enjoyable production?? i mean, it’s a musical that went with the stage tradition of casting a woman as Peter Pan that also stars Christopher Walken as Captain Hook (Christopher Walken?? in a musical???? as a flamboyant pirate??????) and an actual Native American girl playing Tiger Lily
please give this the ratings it deserves, please watch this production, it looks to be so much better than Pan could ever hope to be

yooooo my dads orchestrating this production and they finished that song a while ago but they literally overhauled the entire thing
they confirmed everything from the words to the drum beat and they are putting so much work into making it not racist so i can give you a first hand confirmation from a source this is super legit
