tfw ur loyal to rwby because you fell in love with the characters and the concept and monty’s work ethic and drive inspired you like no other so you watch its narrative fall apart a little more each week and feel weird because criticizing it makes people accuse you of unkind things when you’re really doing it out of love but it’s hard to hide how increasingly angry you are when basic storytelling foundation stuff hasn’t been happening at all and the four girls that are the show’s namesake are pushed aside for dozens of new male characters and you’re holding out for development but it’s been four volumes and four years
