This summer is going to be really fucking bad.
To all my Californian followers: You need to be doing everything you can to conserve water right now.
- Let your grass die.
- Try to do as few loads of laundry and dishes as possible.
- Use your dishwasher…it’s much more efficient than hand-washing your dishes.
- Don’t run your facet unless you’re actually using it. (i.e. Don’t run it while you’re brushing your teeth, shaving, etc..)
- Shorten your shower times.
Seriously, this is going to be bad.
Please consider emailing Time magazine at feedback@time.com to get them to reconsider not putting Laverne Cox on their list. She overwhelmingly got voted in at 91.5%, but was not put on there. Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood had 25% of the vote and was put on there.
The erasure of trans women, and women of color needs to stop. Ms. Cox does nothing but good work.
Spread it like wildfire, please.
