Seriously though when Zedd and Kesha’s song True Colors drops tomorrow please buy it when you can. The profits will benefit someone who’s struggled with assault and abuse and who’s voice was silenced when she tried to speak up. Who was dismissed her rights even when she said she spoke the truth. Who was told to lie about her assault case in order to gain her freedom. In this situation , Kesha needs all the support she can get and the easiest way to do that is by spending the 1.29 for the song. Illegally downloading doesn’t do shit.
Also, don’t feel as though you’ll be giving money to Dr Luke. The song is being released by Zedd’s label (Interscope) instead of Kesha’s, Dr Luke also didn’t contribute to the production and writing so he doesn’t have credits on the song. Kesha had a lot of fun recording this (x), you’ll only be supporting her and Zedd if you buy/stream it!
do you ever just think about how intelligent arin hanson is? this is the guy who dropped out of school but can talk about the forth dimension and the complexities of space for a full episode, have genuinely engaging and interesting conversations about books and art and game design. not only that but he has common sense to boot, everything he does for his ‘image’ and his business is perfectly justified and well thought out just…and then he can also make dick jokes and fall off the same god damn platform in a game for a full ten minutes??? he’s inspiring af
– Pokemon will be location specific (and try to fit actual environments ie water pokemon near water etc) but they will try to make sure that even in rural areas, you’ll find Pokemon within about 5 minutes of walking and try to make all areas of the world worth playing the game in.
– There will be Teams, probably teams from the games and more.
– Narrative is still up in the air. Not sure if it will have user directed narrative.
– There will be live events IRL in large cites like Ingress.
– The Pokemon GO watch thing will have an interface on it so that you can use it to catch Pokemon etc don’t have to pull out your phone all the time.
The choice bit for me is reading about how passionate Matsuda (as usual) seems to be about the new possibilities and how these two dudes at the helm on making Pokemon GO care a lot about human connection just like the team over and The Pokemon Company. It seems like their ideals really align. It’s awesome to see that they want to promote people going out and seeing the world (art, local stores and cultural monuments) and interacting with people from all over the world.
This new info only makes me more sure I’m going to love this.
